The State of California 1997-98 budget
signed by Governor Wilson includes $1,000,000 towards the
development of a vaccine for Valley Fever. The County of
Kern recently pledged $50,000 over the next 5 years.
Paramount Farms started the ball rolling with a $25,000
contribution. This provides momentum for the private/public partnership required to successfully fund the development of a vaccine for Valley Fever. We rely on corporations such as yours to step up and be included in this partnership. As you develop your corporate budget for 2005, please consider a substantial allocation for the Valley Fever Vaccine Project. This is a tax exempt contribution under the control of the Valley Fever Americas Foundation.
